This is what I believe…

This is what I believe…

I follow the religion which people call Christianity. To me, religion is just a word and I regret using that in the first line too. I could say that I’m in a wonderful relationship with my Creator God! Well, a lot of words can only be felt and not experienced, like LOVE, FAITH, and HOPE… Similar to these is my RELATIONSHIP with God. While living my life I’ve always developed a curiosity in people around me for the way I trust God in this scientific materialistic, 21st century!

I study Biotechnology, a comparatively new and blooming field of Science in which many think that a superstitious belief on a Superpower called God is no longer relevant to a Globalized world. It’s quite strange to know that today’s Science finds newer things about the world around, but hypothesizes its beginning, though Science answers how we live, while it philosophizes why we live. Let me not get into the details for now, but to all those who need clarification and a concrete level of understanding, Here’s what I believe on the eternal redemption plan, A Christian Worldview.

So, here’s how it all began, God created the Heavens and the Earth. The most special of all of his creation was the race of Humanity which he created in his own image1. He created humanity to have fellowship with them. Into mankind’s authority he gave the rest of the earth. But man failed on his part because of his own self, in that he Disobeyed God. Now this becomes clearer with the Adam and Eve story. God has attributes that cannot be changed like shifting shadows, He is HOLY. Considering the fact that he created humanity for fellowship and considering the fact that he is holy, he decided to keep them a little far away from where he was.

Also, God is JUST. EXAMPLE, 👉 even if you are the teacher’s favorite student, if you do not write the answer on the sheet, you do not get the mark for it. The teacher, if JUST cannot put marks for the answer that was not written. Likewise, God cannot continue his proximal fellowship, if sin had crept in! Now why did he allow sin to creep in, that’s another part called Freewill but for now the only explanation I could give is 👉 that the teacher who is Holy and Just will TEACH you how to write your answer but will never write it FOR you. It is up to you to write it or not! Sadly the deserving punishment for SIN is DEATH2 and HELL.

Fortunately for us, this God I’m talking about also LOVES. So he couldn’t just keep us away and stop thinking about us or could he destroy us and completely erase us from his memory! He came up with a plan of redemption. From time to time in History, in all cultures, regions and languages, the sacrifice of Blood brought about forgiveness of sins and redemption. Here, Jesus comes to the picture. No amount of blood could be sacrificed any more for people’s sins and day after day it became impractical. Another important thing is no amount of pilgrimages, human sacrifices, Good deeds; etc. could ever match up to win the eternal salvation in store for us. Jesus was sent to the earth by God as a holy one, a 100%man and a 100% God. He lived his life here on earth, sinless and made a WAY for redeemed LIFE on earth3.Once for all came Jesus who bled and died on the cross for all of humanity’s sins. He was the sacrifice to bring our race back to the fellowship and nearness we could have with our Creator.

Thus, on the climax,

 JOHN 3:16 - (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Just the FAITH, on the Living God and belief on his wonderful Love brings us the salvation that we long for as humans. Flipside, those who do not believe do not have the blessing of eternal life too. This is the redemption that I believe and this Love drives me in everything I do. This FAITH, keeps me going.
Only with the potter is clay complete, only with God are we complete. Flipside, what is man without knowing his maker, what is clay without being touched by the potter?
